Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Dragon Quest XI continues the gameplay of previous games in the series, in which players explore worlds and fight against various monsters, including the ability to explore high areas. Before entering battle, players can also toggle between the 3D and 2D graphical styles. The game features the series' traditional turn-based battle system.

Developer: Bird Studio Bird Studio (バードスタジオ Bādo Sutajio) is a manga and design production studio created by Akira Toriyama that is based in Nagoya, Japan. The studio was founded in 1983, following the success of Toriyama's Dr. Slump series. This firm would cover game productions including Dragon Quest, Tobal No.1, Chrono Trigger, and Blue Dragon.
Developer: Armor Project Armor Project is the company that owns the intellectual copyrights pertaining to the Dragon Quest series. It is owned by Yuji Horii, with his family serving on the board of directors. As the sole controlling entity of the series, it is listed first in all instances regarding ownership.
Developer: Square Enix Business Division 6 Established at the 2013 corporate restructure of Square Enix, Business Division 6 would primarily handle development for mainline Dragon Quest games, including Dragon Quest Monsters and Dragon Quest Heroes. Along with this, they would also supervise the development of future Nier games including widely acclaimed Nier: Automata, and the newly introduced Bravely Default. At the closing of 2019 this division would be merged to Creative Business Unit II.
