These terms cover your use of gamerfriendly.io (“Gamer Friendly”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Using the site

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and don't impersonate anyone.

Your ratings and comments

You keep ownership of the ratings and comments you post. By posting, you give us permission to display, store and share them on Gamer Friendly, and to use them in community ratings and certifications.

When you post, please:

  • Rate games honestly, based on what you've seen or experienced.
  • Keep comments about the game, not about other people.
  • Don't post spam, advertising, harassment, hate speech, personal information about others, or anything illegal.
  • Don't try to manipulate ratings, for example with multiple accounts or coordinated voting.

We may edit or remove content, or suspend accounts, that break these rules or that we believe harm the site or its users.

Profile pictures

Uploaded profile pictures are reviewed by a moderator before anyone else can see them. Only upload images you have the right to use. Don't upload nudity or sexual content, gore, hate symbols, harassment, advertising, images that impersonate someone else, or anything illegal.

We can reject or remove any picture, limit how often you can upload, and turn off uploads for accounts that break these rules. We report illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, to the authorities.

Ratings are opinions

Community ratings reflect the views of the people who voted. Certified scores reflect our staff's assessment at the time of certification. Games change after release — prices, in-game stores and online requirements can all be updated — so ratings are provided for information only and aren't a guarantee of how a game behaves today. Check the details yourself before you buy.

Game information and trademarks

Game details and artwork come from IGDB and other sources. Game names, logos and artwork belong to their respective owners. Gamer Friendly isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher or developer unless we say so.

Links and advertising

The site links to other websites and shows ads from third parties. We're not responsible for their content, products or practices.

Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about its accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Gamer Friendly isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including purchasing decisions based on its ratings.

Ending your account

You can stop using the site at any time, and can ask us to delete your account by emailing admin@gamerfriendly.io. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
